EPCO Introduces Split Movable Platen Bushings
EPCO LLC introduces new Split Movable Platen Bushings with weld rings, a great way to replace your machine’s platen bushings without removing the tie bars. The bushings are made of 660 bronze material, instead of molded fiber. Weld rings are drilled, tapped and assembled by EPCO.
Worn platen bushings can cause machine problems like sagging, lubrication problems, clamp ram packing leaking and platens out of parallelism.
EPCO can also perform knock-out plate bushing replacement work.
